Confidential Confidential Hoffman Estates, IL Hoffman Estates, IL Full-time Full-time $75,000 - $100,000 a year $75,000 - $100,000 a year Business Development Manager, Fulfillment Services Manage the daily execution of the Fulfillment Services business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives.
Coach and develop a sales team in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers.
Establish team targets and metrics to measure the achievement of objectives.
Develop and use contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes.
Guide new business by identifying, researching, and qualifying new opportunities weekly.
Prospect a prospect pipeline via high volume of outbound cold calls, emails, and social selling.
Identify client needs through assessing their current fulfillment methods and use discretionary judgment to determine if they are a fit for our business model.
Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives.
Achieve daily activity requirements through outbound prospect contact and accurately track prospect interactions and information in designated tracking system.
Make suggestions for new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts.
May administer or negotiate new business proposals and prepare contracts.
Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
True first level manager.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Fulfillment Services required.
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in an E-commerce fulfillment sales environment.
Experience selling over the phone and smart calling various types of prospects.
Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
An aptitude for research and understanding data.
