We are in search of a Senior Accountant with a focus on contribution to join our Accounting Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our team responsible for managing inventory, lease accounting, and various ad-hoc tasks. Job DetailsEnsure timely and accurate completion of general ledger tasks for period-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.Maintain the integrity of accounting data through transaction recording, verification, consolidation, and entry.Review financial reports and conduct analyses.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations promptly.Manage subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed.Assist in various financial reporting activities, including contributions to quarterly and/or annual SEC filings.Coordinate inventory valuation and analyze inventory changes, liaising with field personnel responsible for physical inventory counts.Uphold compliance and documentation of internal controls.Collaborate with external auditors and internal audit function for annual audits, quarterly reviews, and ongoing controls testing.Analyze business trends and communicate financial performance insights to product managers and other stakeholders.Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency while maintaining accuracy.Complete ad-hoc projects in a timely manner as assigned.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates must be capable of satisfactorily performing each essential duty. Requirements include:
Adherence to established schedules and deadlines.Ability to comprehend detailed financial statements.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Positive representation of the company to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience:
3-8 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, internal audit, financial planning & analysis, or related fields.Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification strongly preferred.Skills:
Proficiency in US GAAP accounting.Strong teamwork abilities.Quick grasp of new concepts.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP/Great Plains, Vena, or Coupa is advantageous.Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Interested in hearing more?
