Responsibilities:
Assist KCD Industrial Designers in projects with ideation sketches, image research and presentation preparation.
Maintain logistics of the studio
Participate in limited presentations to the marketing and engineering teams at design reviews
Be an active member and support the ID Team where necessary
Performs other duties as assigned (LEAVE ON FOR NON-EXEMPT JOBS ONLY)
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in an Industrial Design academic program
An enthusiastic and agile work style
Strong ability to communicate through sketching
Ability to generate ideas rapidly through sketching and brainstorming
Advanced skill level with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Ability to work independently as well as under tight creative direction
Willingness to learn and take direction
Above all else, a passion for design.
oFamiliarity with SolidWorks or Keyshot are a plus
