The eCommerce Vertical Product Manager is responsible for a suite of eCommercecapabilities and web experiences which drive online business results. The Vertical Product Manager willbe the eCommerce single point of contact supporting one or more Sears Holdings business units, withresponsibility for online strategy, planning, roadmap development, and execution. This is a criticalleadership role within the Online Business Unit, with high-level visibility and exposure across SearsHoldings.

Responsible for a suite of eCommerce capabilities (products) which support the overall web experience,with direct accountability for the success of the product suite.
?Proactively manage the product lifecycle, from understanding a concept or the current state,assessing gaps, defining key capabilities, working across the organization to developrequirements, working with IT to understand tradeoffs, through product launch and the ongoingmanagement of the product post launch.
?Use market research, customer surveys, and web analytic data to understand customer andbusiness needs, discovering competitive and functional gaps and identifying new opportunitiesto ultimately define a product roadmap.
?Function as the Online Business Unit representative across Sears Holdings, serving as an experton e-commerce, web functionality, and online consumer behavior
?Develop business cases for new web products and functionality
?Transform complex concepts into executable plans and customer experiences
?Manage product innovation through cross-functional teams focusing on new productcapabilities and services.
?Anticipate industry and product trends, capability prioritization and tradeoffs, balancingbusiness needs and technical requirements.
?Drive implementation of new vendor / product deployments
?Manage key vendor / product relationships - including contract negotiation in partnership withProcurement.
?Build strong relationships across the eCommerce business teams and throughout Sears Holdings
Education/Training
4 year Bachelor Degree / MBA preferred
Experience
5-7 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
?Web Product Management
?Strategic Consulting/Planning
?Consumer-facing web products and technologies
?Project Management / Program Management
?Merchandising
?Marketing
