As a key technical leader of our ordering platform you are responsible for the design, development and operations of the system.Ensuring the proper mentorship and guidance you will build world class teams so they can execute on the goals of speed, scalability, quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
Lead and grow a broad team (or teams) of engineering professionals in delivering a successful order management architecture and platform
Mentor and coach junior and senior staff including line managers
Ensure that implementations follow best coding/testing practices and methodology
Ensure quality standards are met
Assign and coach technical architects to lead code reviews across projects
Manage onshore and offshore teams
Ability to lead code and design reviews
Experience/Skills
5-7
years hands-on experience in open source and database development
Strong leadership and collaborative demeanor
Proven track record leading and managing teams in e-commerce development
Able to successfully work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
2 years of ecommerce experience
Demonstrated expertise in accurately estimating software development tasks
Competent in security best practices and defensive development principles
Object-oriented analysis and design
Education
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
