Leading Global Enterprise Firm seeks a Senior Symantec NetBackup Engineer.
As a Backup/Restore Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining backup system infrastructure, improving backup performance, and developing new enhancements or services centered on the Backup/Restore/Vaulting services in the Data Centers, which are operated 24x7x365.
Backup Engineers also serve as a technical escalation point for Operations and Region Support. You may interface with clients and company internal users on related problem resolutions. Additionally, you will support Systems and Applications for over 2,600 locations throughout North America with SLAs of greater than 99.9% up availability. These Data Centers are required to meet annual SAS-70 Level II Certifications and are responsible for delivering applications that account for over $300 Million in annual revenue.
Experience and Expertise in working with the following technologies:
Backup Infrastructure: Symantec, Disk-to-Disk, Automated Tape Libraries
Backup Software: Symantec NetBackup, Veritas Backup Exec, or other backup/replication software
MS Windows Server, MS Cluster Server, MS SQL, Linux, Postgres, or MySQL database software
Understanding of backup theories and terminology - backup levels, strategies, rotation/retention methodologies, file system v. application backup methods, and snapshots.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
