Responsibilities:
As the NetBackup/Restore Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining backup system infrastructure, improving backup performance, and developing new enhancements or services centered on the Backup/Restore/Vaulting services in the Data Centers, which are operated 24x7x365.
Qualifications:
Backup Infrastructure: Symantec, Disk-to-Disk, Automated Tape Libraries
Backup Software: Symantec NetBackup, Veritas Backup Exec, or other backup/replication software
MS Windows Server, MS Cluster Server, MS SQL, Linux, Postgres, or MySQL database software
Understanding of backup theories and terminology - backup levels, strategies, rotation/retention methodologies, file system v. application backup methods, and snapshots.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
