Web Architect
The Web Architect designs and creates new software using Microsoft technologies, such as ASP.
Net, Visual Studio and VBScript, applying theoretical principles of computing and mathematics in order to analyze, test and assess software systems.
The Web architect evaluates user needs while designing and testing new software to meet those needs.
This may involve analyzing and developing flow charts, models, diagrams and algorithms in addition to coding or modifying software.
This position researches and develops new technologies and processes/algorithms, and introduces them to the enterprise as needed to improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience Strong working knowledge in ASP.
Net, VB Script, Java script, Visual studio, CSS, Web API, jQuery, AngularJS, TFS and MS SQL Server 5-10 years of related experience Analysis, design, coding and implementation of large-scale applications.
Full stack development knowledge using OO design including extensive design patterns & their applicability Ability to understand requirements and communicate effectively JOB DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Responsible for independently designing, building and implementing online software required by SHC's retail and corporate locations Would work in a fast paced agile environment to meet the project deadlines Serves as a team member in ensuring the 24/7 availability of the applications Responsible to ensure functional performance specifications are met and engineering standards are followed.
Delivers code that meets specifications, creates little to no operational support overhead and requires minimal support during development Creates self-documenting designs and/or clearly communicates intent via comments in code Writes unit and integration tests for each deliverable, effectively and comprehensively exercising the code; prevents the introduction of subsequent bugs, and corrects existing bugs or design issues when discovered Implements and adapts best practices in source control management, application build and release Displays the SHC cultural beliefs and deliver on key results to help the organization achieve its mission.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
